2014 SPRING CHICKEN FESTIVAL 5K RESULTS
Thank you Lanier Running Club members, for your very generous donations to our adopted family at Christmas. Sorry that this notice is so late but would like to share some of the highlights of where the donations went,
With over $600.00 in cash and gift cards, plus gifts, we were able to provide each of the 4 kids with almost everything on their lists; spending approximately $100.00 each. We got the 3 year old boy a bike, toys and a couple outfits. each of the 3 girls received an outfit and highlights from their lists. The parents had gift cards for either groceries or more gifts plus money that could be used for car repairs. The church was made aware that they requested car repairs and there is someone at the church that owns a shop that could help.
Attached is a picture of all the wrapped gifts. I hope this family had a wonderful Christmas thanks to our little running club.
Again, thank you for your donations and your participation in blessing others. I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,
