A message from LRC President Wes Wessely:

LRC Clubmembers:

On January 2 we held our first meeting of the new year. The meeting was well attended and we enjoyed hearing about Nick Long's college running experience

the Club's by-laws call for the election of officers. There were no nominations from the floor. The position of secretary was open and I asked David Turner, our 70+ member extraordinary, to take the position. His major emphasis will be to work on adult programs. We thank Jane Harrison for her past service.

Club Officers for 2012 are:

   Wes Wessely  -  President
   Art DaCosta  -  Vice President
   DeLena Wikson  -  Treasurer
   David Turner  -  Secretary

As we look to the new year we face some challenges getting the "Spring Chicken Festival 5K" going. We hope you will be able to volunteer for help in various club functions.

   Happy New Year  -  Wes
